This week’s card is called Heart With Roses and was made by Pam Zimmerman. This stylish card was made using the Form-A-Lines Heart and Roses Pattern.

Pam Zimmerman said: “DMC rayon white thread was used. I glittered the edges and used sticky pads to bring out the pattern. I added a polka a dot background. The inside says “Roses are red… Violets are blue… Here’s a Special Valentine wish for you”.

Holiday and Flower Borders added to the Form-A-Lines printed booklet range

Two new pattern sets have been added to the Form-A-Lines printed booklet range. They are a flower set featuring three flower border patterns. The subjects are Congratulations, New Home and With Sympathy, plus alternative greetings Happy Birthday and Best Wishes.

Also a holiday set featuring beach huts, VW camper van and a VW Beetle with surf boards. They are available as part of a kit or as separate booklets.

When the pattern booklet is purchased as part of a kit you also get blank cards and envelopes, thread, beads, a pricking pin and sewing needle.

Alternatively you can purchase just the pattern booklet with its step-by-step instructions and pricking patterns.

The pattern booklets are available by mail order in the UK as part of a kit from the Card Inspirations UK shop.

Angel – forum gallery stitching card of the week

This week’s card is called Angel and was made by Sejjcraft. This lovely card was made using the Angel Pattern from the Form-A-Lines Christmas 3 Patterns Booklet.

Sejjcraft said “The angel is stitched in gold onto square card. I realised that when mounted onto a jump card the outline made a star, which I cut from gold mirri card. I made this for a friends granddaughter for Christmas”.

This week’s card is called Friend Birthday and was made by WestCoaster. This elegant card was made using the Stitching Cards Bead Medallion 5: Heart Leaves pattern.

Friend Birthday

The pattern uses green, blue and gold seed beads on a white background. The green words compliment the green beads and the blue and green borders finish the design beautifully.

Jasu said “I stitched on white hammered card with deep green, orange and yellow silk and metallic gold threads. Then mounted onto dark green and white card, and then added peel off for a frame”.

Pam Zimmerman said “I chalked in the groom and the background. I made the bride and groom stand out by putting sticky pads on the back of the oval. A poem was added to the inside of the card along with the message “Sending you best wishes on your special day”".
